A warm welcome to our new caretakers!

As Swami Karma Karuna has departed NZ shores once more for Australia and then India, a new season dawns here at Anahata. She leaves the property in the good hands of our new caretakers Love and Gareth.  Learn more about this dynamic couple below in their own words.

We came to Anahata with the intention of deepening our connection to yoga, community, and nature. Both of us felt called to step away from the busyness of daily life and into a space where we could slow down, learn, and give back in meaningful ways. Our expectation is to gain the knowledge and experience needed to support community and create a space to help others who are in need or are seeking to learn, heal, and grow. We wish to be part of something bigger than ourselves, learning how to live and work within community.

Our backgrounds are a blend of creativity, service, and personal growth. Together, we run a digital marketing agency called Stylie Dot Co, and beyond that, we’re deeply passionate about sharing tools for manifestation and spiritual practices through The School of Conscious Creation.

Gareth has a background in NLP, Havening Techniques, and has been initiated through the Giri lineage into Kriya Yoga and fire ceremony. Love is qualified in past life regression and also loves practicing fire ceremony, meditation, and breathwork.

We are both also Reiki practitioners, and love working with energy in supportive and intuitive ways — whether for personal healing or to hold space for others on their journey.

Together, we enjoy teaching practices that support inner transformation, wellbeing, and balance.

During our stay, we hope to contribute our energy, skills, and open hearts to the community here. In return, we wish to receive wisdom, inspiration, new life skills, and the kind of inner stillness that can only be nurtured in a place like Anahata.
