Rishidam – Private Straw-bale Cottage

Available until the end of March 2025, Rishidam offers the chance to live simply and serenely within Anahata’s peaceful, off-grid environment.

Tucked away in native bush, this rustic straw bale cottage provides quiet simplicity and soulful comfort — a space for writers, artists, and seekers drawn to stillness, reflection, and a slower rhythm of life.

Built with natural materials and warmed by a wood fire, Rishidam invites you to unwind and reconnect with what matters most.

Available from: 1st February 2026

Rental Rates:

• For stays of 2 months or longer: $300 per week (Firewood and gas bottles will be the responsibility of the hirer)
• For stays of between 1 and 2 months: $350 per week (Firewood and gas bottles will be the responsibility of the hirer)
• For stays of less than one month: $150 per night (Firewood and gas supplied)

Shankaraya – 2-bedroom Cottage

This space is ideal for a person, couple, or small family looking to really disconnect from the modern world hustle and bustle and get back to nature.

Please note this space has limited power (12v lights only, no charging) and limited mobile reception depending on your carrier. There are areas of better reception around the property and access to a charging point in another building.

Two Rooms for Rent in Surya

Surya is Anahata’s main building, offering shared facilities in a cozy, communal setting. Each private room has a single bed with space to accommodate double beds/mattresses with storage and is available for rent separately.

• Sink with running water and a simple kitchen area, including a gas stove and basic cookware
• Sleeping mezzanine, a cozy, elevated space for rest and reflection
• Composting toilet located a short walk from the cottage
• Outdoor shower designed to offer hot water from the wetback system
