Karma Yogi Caretaker Exchange
As Anahata steps into a transitional phase of evolution, we are looking for a few dedicated people to help steward this special land.
Known as “Karma Yogis” we are seeking experienced, responsible, and self-motivated people to bring their unique skills and energy to our small community on our off-grid property in beautiful Golden Bay.
The Anahata Yoga Health & Education Trust is a non-profit, charitable organisation dedicated to sharing the traditional practices of yoga. We are committed to living simply and sustainably, in harmony with nature and one another.
Various group practices (chanting, fire ceremony, asana, meditation) are offered throughout the week, however this experience will be best suited to those with a regular personal practice of their own.
The aim of this opportunity is to have a small community devoting energy to the general upkeep of land and buildings until such time as a new owner of the space emerges. Tasks and timelines will be put forth by the current owner for the team to then complete in a way that is balanced and honours the needs of both the space and residents.
If this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, please reach out to us at yoga@anahata-retreat.org.nz for more details and to apply.
