Find your own rhythm with options to join in on yoga classes, relaxation practice, meditation sessions, and chanting. Immerse yourself in bush hikes or open country walks with spectacular views, writing, drawing, or reading from our large library of spiritual and health books. Spend time in the garden or find a spot in the surrounding native forest to meditate or just relax. Healthy vegetarian meals are provided throughout your stay, nourishing your body as you unwind. SWAMI KARMA KARUNA
Swami Karma Karuna, founding member and director of Anahata Yoga Retreat, NZ, is an engaging, intuitive yoga teacher with more than 25 years of training and experience. She specialises in therapeutic applications of yoga, yoga nidra relaxation and pranic practices and shares in a simple and practical way, inspiring people to access and apply yogic practices in their own lives.
SANNYASI SIDDHESHWARI, ANAHATA SENIOR TEACHER
Siddheshwari has been teaching yoga internationally for over 11 years. She has a Diploma of Yogic Studies and is a qualified teacher in the Bihar School of Yoga tradition. She is a registered Senior Teacher with Yoga New Zealand and is a co-facilitator of the Teacher Trainings offered at Anahata. She is dedicated to guiding others in the powerful practices of traditional yoga and bringing the teachings to life on a practical level. Her dharma as a teacher is to give students yogic tools for everyday life, to empower people to create positive change on a realistic timeline, and to inspire people to live with an attitude of selflessness, compassion, and gratitude. Her passions are yoga for everyday life, yoga ecology, ritual, manta, and storytelling.
