“The body is your temple. Keep it pure and clean.” – B.K.S. Iyengar
“I felt as though life itself was breathing me in, all of creation around an interconnected web charged with the force of life through breath”
Through years of curiosity, learning, and practice, I discovered the breath as a teacher — a way to meet the self honestly, to release tension I was holding, and to awaken to what’s already alive within. Relaxing my fist, feeling the blood flood my parched finger tips.
Through Breathe Well, I guide others into this same relationship with their breath and body. My offerings range from a variety of Pranayama practices — rooted in Yogic wisdom — to deeper cyclical Breathwork Journeys that draw from Holotropic traditions. Each one is designed to open a space of awareness, where you can explore your own inner landscape with safety, honesty, and reverence.
What to expect
During this class we will lay down the formula for a steady Rhythmic Breath ~ This foundation is the building blocks of Pranayama ~ Adding Breathwav a form of holotropic breathing, this is a technique that is a mixture of steady rhythmic music to keep the pace of the breath with the incline rate of the heart. Continuous cyclical breathing activates the stress response with increased adrenaline and anti-inflammatory cytokines. Mastering this in-between space to over right pre program responses of the autonomic system.
