SUMMARY:Resilience: Nervous System Regulation for Teachers and Practitioners
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\nHow do we remain anchored when the world feels turbulent? For practitioners\, yoga teachers and their students\, true resilience is the “muscle of the soul\,” a conscious return to center that allows us to ride the waves of life. \n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\nIn this 75-minute Sangha\, we explore how understanding the nervous system and building resilience transforms us and supports us to face the ups and downs. We will review how the stages of Yoga Nidra – from establishing Pratyahara to working with our deeper roots – systematically rewire the stress response. This practice supports the teacher’s own vitality while providing essential tools for all to use during life’s challenges. There will be time for questions. \n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\nWhat We Will Explore:\n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n\nThe Science of “Being”: Shift from high-beta stress frequencies into restorative alpha and theta brainwave states.\nPractical Vagal Hacks: 60-second tools to find your center before teaching or in the middle of the challenges of your day.\nThe Art of Co-regulation: Learn how your own Vagal Tone acts as an “anchor\,” directly influencing the safety and depth of your experience with others including the classroom environment for yoga teachers.\nTrauma-Informed Nuance: Re-examine the Window of Tolerance to support students who find stillness challenging.\nIntegrated Practice: A deep Yoga Nidra journey designed to reset the nervous system for both professional and personal renewal.\n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\nTime for Q and A: Ask your questions on the nervous system\, Yoga Nidra and other relevant topics \n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n\nResilience is the muscle of the soul. It is developed through the conscious choice to return to center\, time and time again. — Swami Karma Karuna \n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\nThese events are always FREE to YogaNZ members.  \nRegister for this Sangha by logging into the YogaNZ website\, and find the registration link under ‘Resources and Learning’ in the members area. \n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\nTeacher\n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Swami Karma Karuna Saraswati is an experienced yoga and meditation teacher\, inspirational speaker and registered Yoga Therapist with over 30 years of experience in the Yoga field.
