You can book in by emailing: yoga@anahata-retreat.org.nz or calling us at: 03 525 7587\n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\nEvery Saturday\, in our yoga tradition all over the world\, 108 rounds of the Maha Mrityunjaya Healing Mantra is chanted during the practice of Havan\, an ancient Fire Ceremony\, using mantra and fire for means of transformation. \nThis particular mantra is chanted to offer healing to people in need and to assist those who are wanting to let go of attachments. We read the names of all those we know in need of healing before making offerings to the fire with those names in our hearts. \nCome experience this powerful practice of healing & transformation\, followed by uplifting vibrations at our heart-opening Kirtan. Each offering symbolizes an intention or prayer for healing and well-being. The smoke that arises from the fire is believed to carry these intentions to the Divine realm. \nThe Maha Mritunjaya mantra is a revered chant invoking the qualities of Shiva\, the first Yogi; It supports the practitioner to elevate consciousness\, develop non-attachment and encourages transformation and healing.
