Mantra & Hatha Yoga Sadhana Retreat

Thursday 22 September, 2022 - Wednesday 05 October, 2022

Retreat Overview

In honour of Navaratri, the twice-yearly celebration of the nine nights of the Goddess; Swami Karma Karuna & Lakshmi will be sharing a Mantra & Hatha Yoga sadhana course. Navaratri is a potent time for spiritual and yogic practices (Sadhana) to amplify their effects. We will focus on progressive daily practices of Asana, Pranayama, Mudra, Bandha and Mantra, Yantra, and Mindfulness Meditation techniques alongside Karma Yoga to integrate the transformational process. The practices activate energy for healing, health, and well-being and give a positive channel to transform imbalances at the emotional and mental levels.

Explore the power resources within your own self as represented by three phases in the Navaratri sadhana:

Day 1-3 Durga, the energy of remover of internal obstacles and mother nature in manifest form
Day 4-6 Lakshmi, the quality of abundance, receiving, giving, and openness of heart
Day 7-9 Saraswati, the expression of wisdom, intuition, music and the arts

The Retreat Includes

Hatha Yoga Sadhana:

The practice of asana, pranayama, mudra, bandha, meditation, and mantra.

Navaratri Chanting Sadhana:

The practice of mantra chanting over the Navaratri period (Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswati Gayatri Mantras // Durga Path: The 32 names of Durga // Hanuman Chalisa) and Havan fire ceremony.

Meditation and Yoga Nidra Sadhana:

Explore meditation practices to learn to be the witness, calm the mind and energy field and find your inner source.

Karma Yoga Sadhana:

The practice of meditative action with awareness to bring yogic attitudes into daily life. Selfless service ‘Seva’ is centered around channeling energy into Anahata Retreat for our own transformation. 3-4 hours per day, 5 days per week. Led by Anahata Karma Yogis.
