Discover the Joy of Living in Harmony with Nature’s Cycles

Join us for an intimate retreat on the stunning mountaintops of Golden Bay, New Zealand, where the serene embrace of Mother Nature and the vast expanse of the cosmos become your sanctuary. This retreat, centered around the spring equinox, is designed to reconnect you with the natural rhythms of the universe, fostering a harmonious and peaceful coexistence with nature and your inner Self.

Why the Spring Equinox?

The spring equinox marks a time of balance and renewal. It’s a powerful moment to reflect on the gifts of winter’s introspection and to consciously prepare for the vibrant energy of spring. Our practices will guide you in shedding the old and embracing new beginnings, mirroring the transformative journey of nature itself.

What to Expect

• Yogic and Tantric Practices: Engage in ancient rituals and practices that harness the cycles of nature and the cosmos. These sessions will help you navigate life’s changes with ease and grace.
• Connection with Nature: Experience the profound intimacy of being surrounded by untouched wilderness. Reconnect with the stars under the clear night sky, atop the secluded mountains of Golden Bay.
• Transformation and Growth: Allow yourself to expand and grow, embracing change rather than fearing the unknown. Learn to let go of old parts of yourself and welcome the new with open arms.

Our Approach

Our retreat is rooted in the wisdom of ancient traditions that understand the microcosmos is a reflection of the macrocosmos. By aligning ourselves with these natural cycles, we create a nurturing environment where you can explore the depths of your being and emerge renewed.

Sn Atmavidya Anahata

Atmavidya breathes gratitude for being steeped, through decades, in ancient practices of Hatha Yoga and Meditation given to her by great teachers including Mother Nature.     Yoga is a magnificent key, for her, in appreciation and enjoyment of the life we have, and to living from the naturalness, goodness, beauty and authenticity of our being.   Atmavidya welcomes the opportunity to share practices that uplift wellbeing of body mind and spirit.   She aspires to create a safe, nurturing space that allows all people to experience balance, harmony, peace and connection with self.     The practices Atmavidya gives, invite all to come home to themselves, despite any perceived limitations of body, shape, size, gender or cultural identity or traumas that may have been experienced in life.

Fascination with spiritual traditions of ancient traditions led Anahita to the discovery of classical Yogic and Tantric practices which she has been immersed in for more than 20 years.  The practices have provided a profound pathway for her physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual transformation. Her journey from a country and family deeply traumatized by war and suppression has helped her to grow her own wings of strength, to somehow be greater than the limitations of our personal and cultural constructs, to experience liberation and inner freedom.   Anahita’s background fuels her aspiration to create safe spaces that allow facilitation of the (one’s) deeper inner connection.  Her strong commitment to  women’s health and cycles have guided her own journey to increasing alignment and harmony with the rhythms of nature.  Anahita is an embodiment of this ancient wisdom.  Her life and work inspires trust in one’s essential nature—joyful, blissful, playful, and spontaneous. Anahita is dedicated to sharing transformational practices and guiding and supporting others on their journey of self-discovery and growth.
