Ajna Chakra Weekend - Awakening the Third Eye for Focus & Intuition with
international guests Rishis Nityabodhananda and Yoga Diwali Saraswati This 3 day weekend of yoga practices are aimed specifically at helping to remove distractions from the mind, and enhance the balance between the inner and outer awareness. Trataka meditation to help awaken Ajna chakra, AUM chanting, kirtan (chanting), and satsang (discussion) will be part of the daily program as well as asana (postures) and pranayama(breathing) practices. These influence the third eye which is also called the command centre. This centre (or Chakra), once developed and purified by these practices will ultimately enable us to receive inspiration from a higher source of deep inner wisdom. This is a rare opportunity to be in the presence of this internationally acclaimed couple, who have dedicated their lives to practicing and sharing yoga and meditation. They have also raised a family thus sprinkling their teachings with "life experience." Both Rishis have received the rare title of Yogacharya (Masters of Yoga) and exude the wisdom that comes from so many years of dedication. They are also personable and practical and will tickle you with humour. These events are a must! Rishi Nityabodhananda is an expert in the deeper aspects of yoga, having just commemorated 45 years as a Swami. He lived in India for many years and has recently published a book an Ajna Chakra. This book has emerged out of Rishi Nityabodha's deep personal experience with meditation and the direct guidance of Swami Satyananda. Rishi Yoga Diwali brings creative flair, utilizing art as a tool to inspire the inner potential. She combines Yoga and art, opening the door to spontaneity and intuition.
